The Last Few Weeks of 2010

I am actually not looking forward to the new year. 2010 has been a fabulous year for me. I simply love everything (minus the part about losing a supposed friend) that has happened in this year. I love the busy preparation for the wedding; trying on the gorgeous gowns, feeling like a star during the photoshoot, the short getaway in Bali and getting ready for the big day. Though we had our fair share of arguments along the way, it is through those times that we learn and grow to love each other in every way. :)

As for work, there were days when I really feel like giving up. Those days made you feel like you're wasting your time and effort. You can't seem to see the result and your hard work will never be appreciated. But when you receive a sincere thank you from a parent or when a child tells you that she wants to be just like you when she grows up, everything changes again. It is after all, a kind of job with returns that no amount of money can measure. I ... (can't believe I'm actually saying this) think I love my job. Maybe that feeling will not last, but as long as I'm in this department with a great boss, I know I'll enjoy working for her. Pray hard that I will not be in other department next year.
